Magnum Opus is a Latin term meaning “The Great Work” or “The Great Creation.” In alchemy, it referred to the process of refining and transforming oneself.
Nigredo (Blackening) – the descent into oneself; dissolving old layers and patterns. This stage includes a self-anointing ritual with black sesame oil.
Albedo (Whitening) – the movement toward inner purity, clarity, the restoration of one’s inner geometry, and lightness. A journey from chaos toward the sacred geometry of the inner temple.
Rubedo (Reddening) – the embodiment of one’s creative power and the formation of a personal credo. This stage includes breathwork, meditation, mindful water drinking, and an integration ritual to complete the process.
What to wear: Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing made from natural fibers is recommended. During the first part of the session, which includes the self-anointing/self-massage practice, participants may wear a scarf wrap or a swimsuit.
Justina Yugala Prema (Justina Ližaitienė) is a certified Bodywork and Movement Therapist who graduated from the Institute for Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy (IBMT).
She is a dancer and choreographer affiliated with the Performing Arts and Dance Theatre Academy led by Rajyashree Ramesh in Kaunas, and an instructor of the classical Indian dance form Bharatanatyam. Justina is also a qualified Eurythmist, having completed her studies at the Eurythmy Academy in Nuremberg, Germany. Eurythmy is an anthroposophical system of harmonious, health-promoting movement.
She facilitates individual and group sessions in bodywork, movement and dance therapy, as well as seminars and experiential workshops on somatic education and conscious, restorative movement. She works with both children and adults.
In her therapeutic practice, Justina integrates body and movement therapy, eurythmy, Authentic Movement, asana and pranayama practices. Her meditation and self-development work is informed by anthroposophical approaches and heart-centered methods of inner awareness.
