An experimental folk group born during the spring beauty fair "Deivės atgimimas". The group consists of three women, sisters, mothers, Vilma, Indrė and Raminta. As they put it themselves, the common denominator is folklore - both Lithuanian and inspired by South American native culture, as the environment in which they gathered is also one that upholds their traditions. Everyone's path to folklore and their connection to it is different: some has been singing since their teenage years and youth, some has quietly hummed favourite melodies and the songs they like, and others has sung in ensembles and has spread the ancestral traditions of our generation.
During the Moon Gathering festival, Giedros Liepos will invite you to come together and sing “sutartinės”. In the sounds and melodies, to discover a connection with oneself and with other women and sisters. To discover singing not only as a combination of melody and words, but also as a prayer for ourselves, for our family, for our life. So we invite you not to miss the “Sutartinės”workshop and to come to be, agree and harmonise.
